Here you can see a few photos of some of our P3s getting to do some one on one work with Fiona.
It great to be able to give our students some individual time learning English and the best part is is that all our pupils in the nursery will do this before the summer holidays start.

MORE ENGLISH

More english

We just wanted to give you a few more pictures of our P3s having a great time playing in English.
We worked on movenments by marching in time together and by creating with our body big and small shapes.
They showed objects from the class project and then we can one of their favourite songs 'Row, row, row your boat', which are the last pictures at the end of the album!
We hope you like seeing a little bit more of the English project in the nursery!

THE MENU IN ENGLISH

The menu in english Last week there was a big change in the dinning room for our P5 students. Now everyday the 2nd level students read out the lunch menu for the day first in English and then in Catalan. So now our nursery students can learn even more words for food in English!

SOME ACTIVITIES

Some activities Here are just a few photos of some of our activites that we do in English in the nursery! You can some P5 children watching a puppter show with Aran, P3 listening to the story with Fiona and some p4s playing with our helpers from the secondary school with ipads and playing make believe games! Everything is done in English and as you can see by their faces, the children are having a great time!

HAPPY EASTER!

Happy Easter We just wanted to wish you all a very happy Easter from us all in the nursery! You can see some our our students singing some easters songs with Fiona and Victor! We're sure you've all heard the kids singing 'Easter bunny, looking kinda funny, with his basket of eggs....' And now you can see the dance that they do with Victor too! Enjoy and Happy Easter!

THEATRE IN ENGLISH P4 - P5

Theatre in english

On Tuesday 29th January and Wednesday 30th January our P4 and P5 pupils had a very exciting treat! They went to see a theatre play, but ALL in English!

The P4's went to see the story of Little Red Riding Hood and P5 the story of The Three Billy Goats Gruff.

Before going to see the plays the children had been very busy learning all the names of the characters and learning the great songs that were in the play so they could sing along and take part too!

As you can see they had a great time and they really understood the plays very well!

Afterwards they worked hard to on some beautiful picutres of their favourite moments of the plays!

Thank you to Blue Mango company who came to the school to perform the stories!

PLAYING AS ANIMALS

Playing as animals - P3

 Here we are after are lovely Christmas break, and our P3 classes have gotten straight back into having fun with English!

We've uploaded some pictures of P3 class El Moli learning names for lots of different animals in English but in a really fun way!

First we read the story 'Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What do you see?' by Eric Carle and then we played a very special game called Magic Animals... Fiona waves her magic wand and suddenly all the pupils turn into the animals from the story!

As you can see they all had a great time playing and learning!
