 We wanted to share with you all some pictures of just some of the many activities that we do in the nursery to make English fun and make it come alive for our pupils.

Here you'll see some photos of our older secondary students playing symbolic games with P3 in English, Esme Gardner (Sabrina and Monica's mum) reading the exciting story of The Lorax in English to our P5 students, pupils taking part in fun English classes with Aran and Fiona and a little poem in English that our pupils are learning!

NEW STORY: THE GRUFFALO - P5

Conte en anglès per P5 The gruffalo A mouse took a stroll through the deep dark wood. A fox saw the mouse looked good. "Where are you going to, little brown mouse? Come and have lunch in my underground house" "It's terribly kind of you, Fox, but no  I'm going to have lunch with a gruffalo." "A gruffalo? What's a gruffalo?" "A gruffalo! Why, didnt't you know? "He has terrible tusks, and terrible claws, and terrible teeth in his terrible jaws."...

This is the start to the great story "The Gruffalo", a much beloved tale in the English speaking world, and to tell this story to our P5 pupils, Esma Gardener, very kindly came back to visit us with this magical tale!

As you can see by the photos the classes Virolets, Del Parc and L'Estel really loved the story, and to say thank you to Esme they gave her a beautiful bunch of flowers at the end.

Here in the nursery we feel very special to listen to such wonderful tales in English, so again, THANK YOU Esme!

Today, all three of our P4 classes; Joguines, Contes and Del Bosc, had a very special guest who come to visit them in the afternoon!

The pupils were very lucky that Esme Gardener (Sabrina of Del Bosc's class mum), came to tell them not one, but two very exciting stories in English - The Very Hungry Catepillar and Dr.Seuss. Both stories are very well known in the English speaking world and are popular with many, many children.

The pupils absolutely loved both stories and the experience! Thank you Esme!
